London Mayor Sadiq Khan Wants To Bring WrestleMania To London, Triple H Responds
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Khan wants to keep WrestleMania in North America for the foreseeable future, but does Triple H have other ideas?

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who is seeking re-election on May 2, is making the media rounds right now. Khan spoke to MyLondon and stated that if he’s re-elected, they’ll look to bring the first international WrestleMania to London.

“London is a world leader in major sports events and has been at the heart of some of the most memorable sporting moments of the last few decades, Sadiq Khan said. “From the Olympics, to the Lionesses winning the Euros at Wembley, to the Ashes at Lord’s and The Oval, London is where it’s at. If I’m re-elected on 2 May, I’m determined to go even further and fully cement London’s reputation as the undisputed sports capital of the world.

“I believe that London has the potential to host the first international WrestleMania. In the meantime, my message to anyone traveling to the Paris Olympics this summer is to include a visit to London in your itinerary, to enjoy all that our city has to offer.”

Triple H responds to Sadiq Khan on social media

Sadiq Khan took things a step further today on social media. Khan once again made it clear that he wants to bring WrestleMania to London. But he wants to bring the Super Bowl and the NBA as well, tweeting out:

“London is already the sporting capital of the world. If I’m re-elected next Thursday – we’ll go even further. We’ll look to bring WrestleMania, Superbowl and the NBA to London, and put together another bid for the 2040 Olympics,” Sadiq Khan said in a post.

This caught the attention of WWE CCO Triple H, who responded to his post with a simple message, tweeting out:

“Let’s talk,” Triple H said in response.

While the site for WrestleMania 41 has yet to be announced, Las Vegas and Minnesota are reportedly the front runners.
